Obituary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barb Ketch of Jacksonville NB on July 14,2022. Barb was born on November 16, 1952, in Woodstock NB, she is the daughter of the late Donald and Jennie (Porter) Wright of Woodstock NB. Barb is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Jim Ketch, her four sons Shawn (Cheryl) Ketch, Jamie (Tracy) Ketch, Robbie (Angela) Ketch and Brian (Megan) Ketch. She is also survived by many grandchildren, Ashleigh Kenneson, Austin Ketch (Alysa), Brooke Ketch (Darren), Tori Ketch, Kylie Ketch, Colby Ketch, Cameron Ketch, Collin Ketch, Rankin Ketch, Jennie Ketch, Breea Ketch, Natalie Ketch, Thomas Ketch and great grandchildren, Sadie Kenneson, Everett Morrison and Niomi Morrison. She will also be dearly missed by her siblings, Mary (Richard) McBride, Lela Perkins, Ken (Rose) Wright, Bob (Sandy) Wright, Gail Wright and Donnie Wright (Mary). Her in laws, Beth (Dana) Bubar, Bob Ketch, Pauline (Rick) Atherton, Irene Schriver, Allen Ketch, Michael Ketch, Shannon Ketch and Clinton Grant and many Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Eleanor Johnson (Midge), Merle Wilson, Donna Grant; sister-in-laws Sharon Wright and Lezlie Ketch; nieces Carol Delong and Ashley Porter, as well as brother-in-laws Don Perkins and Harry Wilson. Barb was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grand mother, sister and friend who was loved by all. She welcomed everyone into her house with open arms and we all felt the warmth of Barb's love. There will be no public visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday July 19th at 1 PM from the Woodstock United Baptist Church, Main Street Woodstock. Interment will follow at the Jacksontown Cemetery As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Extra Mural and Shiktehawk Bible Camp. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB.
