Barbara Bessie Curtis, 88, of Grafton, NB passed away on Monday, August 11, 2008 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Barbara was born in Northampton, NB on May 30, 1920, daughter of the late Robert and Agnes (Whenman) Ralston. Barbara is survived by her daughters; Marlene Everett, Jacksonville, NB, Marjorie Bannister (Arthur), Northampton, NB, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, brothers, Charles, Bryon, sisters, Evelyn, Marion, Marjory, Margaret, Kathleen, Roberta, and son in law Sherman Everett. By request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on August 14, 2008 at 7 PM from St. Gertrude's Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Brennan officiating. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund. Service Information
