Avis Delanah (Delong) Foster, 78, formerly of Lansdowne NB passed away on Saturday June 12, 2021 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Avis was born on November 27, 1942 to the late Borden and Ruth (Barrett) Delong.
Avis is survived by, daughter, Kim Foster, sons, Jeff Foster (Diane), Lindon Bartley (Shonna), daughter in law Sherry Foster, her Grandchildren, Thomas (Isabelle Goguen), Melissa (Chris Deveraux), Felicia (Catlin) Butterfield, Keshia Foster-Crain (Caleb), Briana Bartley, great grandchildren, Emma, Ashton, Natalie, Tatum, Layla, Jaeger and Domm.
Avis is also survived by sisters, Ruth Manual (Darrel), Iris Schriver (Paul), brothers Malcolm Delong (Gail), Judson Delong (Betsey) and Wayne Delong (Charlotte), Sister in Laws Christine Delong, Margo Delong and Nita Delong, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Avis was predeceased by her husband Wayne Foster, a son Danny Foster and a sister Barbie Grant, brothers, Max, Allison and Harold Delong.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Tuesday June 15 from 5 to 7PM.
A Private family Funeral service will be held on Wednesday afternoon from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with interment at the Lansdowne Cemetery.
The Funeral Service will be broadcast live on Facebookat 4PM
