Orr
November 28, 1962 – November 18, 2023
Orr, Ashley Wayne
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ashley which occurred at the Upper River Valley Hospital with his family at his side. Ashley is predeceased by his parents Robert and Faye Orr along with brothers Bobby and Jimmy.
He is survived by his partner of 14 years Jocelyn Graham, her son Daryl (Stacie) Graham and his chosen granddaughter Sydnee Graham. In addition, he is also survived by his brothers Cliff (Susan) of Woodstock along with David and Rick, both of Kingston, Ontario. Also left to mourn are his sisters Margaret (John) Denning of Fredericton, Sheila Orr of Woodstock, Barbara (Donnie) Noftell of St. Stephen, Grace (Larry) Veysey and Dorothy (Mike) Lewis both of Woodstock, and Wendy Orr (Jay Bithell) of Edmonton, Alberta.
Ashley also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews on the Orr and Lavigne side, along with many friends that are considered family.
Ashley worked his last 20 years as a Custodian for the Province of New Brunswick at Debec, Hartland; ending his career at Townsview School. Ashley always had a soft spot in his heart for his nieces and nephews. If they needed a hand, he was always the first one there.
Ashley was a simple person who loved his family and friends and the outdoors, especially gardening, a bonfire at night, fishing, wheeling and camping in Grand Falls with the "Gang".
Here's hoping you're on a great "Bumble" with Bob, Ronnie and Taz, sucking back a Moosehead Light and some Elmwood Elixer or Bumble Juice.
Final arrangements entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home , 337 Lockhart Mill Road (506)-328-8430.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday November 25th at the Woodstock Elks Club from 1pm-5pm.
Donations can be made to the Debec Animal Shelter.
Rest easy, love your family.
