Obituary

It is with much sadness we announce the death of Arlo David Mason of Jacksonville on Thursday March 2nd at the St. John Regional Hospital at the age of 84.

Arlo was born in Woodstock March 15th, 1938, to the late Carmen and Florence (Craig) of Waterville.

Arlo worked as a Stationary Engineer for the School board at both Southern Carlton and Hartland High schools. He was a well-known local musician, lead guitarist for John Brownlow and the Rejects. Past President of the Silver Cercle Seniors and Carlton County Fiddlers. Arlo enjoyed entertaining at the manor in both Hartland and Woodstock.

Arlo is survived by his wife Joyce, sons Robert and James. 8 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents Arlo was predeceased by his son Marcel David and his daughter Leslie Joyce.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral at this time. Interment will be at the Waterville Baptist cemetery at a later date.

There will be a wake at the Waterville Community Hall, Esty Road from 2 till 4 on March 11th for friends and family to gather to remember Arlo, share stories and play music.

If desired, donations can be made local Cancer Society or a charity of the Donor's choice.
