It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alton Arnold Trail of Newbridge, New Brunswick at 83 years old. Alton passed peacefully at Upper River Valley Hospital with loved ones by his side.

Alton was born in Nortondale, New Brunswick on March 29, 1942 to the late Alfred and Marclean (MacFarlane) Trail.

Alton will be remembered as an honourable, hardworking and charismatic man and loving father and grandfather who would never failed to put a smile on anyone's face.

Alton is survived by his wife Carol (Brewer) Trail and will be loved and missed dearly by his daughters Glenda (John) Carveth and Patricia. He was predeceased by his son Patrick (Ester) and his first wife and mother of his children Sylvia (Patterson)Trail. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren and extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at the Pembroke Cemetery Friday June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM. As per Alton's wishes there will be no visitation.

In memory of Alton donations may be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group or the New Brunswick Lung Association.
