It is with sadness and peace that Alta, in her 78th year, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 surrounded in love with her daughter Rose(Mark) and her sons Wayne(Catherine) and Kyle(Ashley)and her beloved best friend and partner of 60 years, Sam. Alta is a proud grandmother to Levi, Colton, Cory, Kohdy, Ky, Kyle and Shane. Alta is survived by her sisters Letha, Margaret, Inez and her brother Floyd. Alta is predeceased by her father Daniel Joseph Davenport and her mother Mamie Maude Davenport (McLean), her sisters Gertrude, Kathleen, Anna, Edith, Gloria Jean and her brothers Willis, Danny and Raymond. At the family's request, there is no funeral service. There will be an interment at the MacKenzie Corner Baptist Cemetery in the spring. Deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to incredible team of staff, nurses, doctors and administrators at the Carleton Manor and the Upper River Valley Hospital.
