Allan Fenwick Van Dine

Surrounded by the love of his family, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Born on May 12, 1942, in Woodstock NB, Allan Fenwick Van Dine was the beloved son of John and Phyllis (Glass) Van Dine. He grew up in Bellville, where he developed the values of hard work, compassion, and integrity that guided him throughout his life.

Allan was a devoted husband to Carolyn (Everett), a loving father to Stephen, Phyllis, and Andrew (Amy), daughter in law Angie, and a proud grandfather to Paige, Olivia, Janelle, Garret, Dow and Keenan, great grandchildren Estella, Annabelle and Oaklyn. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was also a dear brother, uncle, and friend whose generosity and quiet support enriched the lives of many.

Throughout his career as Allan, earned the respect of colleagues through his dedication, honesty, and strong work ethic. Beyond his career, he found happiness in his hobby of woodworking, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Those who knew Allan will remember his kind smile, gentle nature, wisdom, or other qualities. He lived with humility, loved deeply, and left lasting memories with everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Phyllis and stepmother, Great grandson Bennet, and a brother Robert.

He is lovingly remembered by Siblings Linda, Arthur, Charlie, Jerry, Carl along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

A visitation will be held at Woodstock Baptist Church, 785 Main Street Woodstock on Thursday August 6, 2026, from 11:00AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM with Pastor Craig Woodcock.

Interment will take place at Jackson Falls Cemetery at s later date.

A reception will follow the funeral service at the church.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the memories that will remain with us forever.
