Agatha Noreen Buxton, 91, of Hartland, NB, passed away on June 16, 2009 at her residence. Agatha was born in Avondale, NB, on February 24, 1918, daughter of the late Lemuel and Bernice (Estrabrooks) Brown. Agatha is survived by her son, Gordon DeLong (Lyn), daughter Noreen Spencer (Floyd), step children; Bertha Papke (Fred), Marie Riley (Len), Lloyd Buxton (Bev), Linda Buckingham (Harold), several grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Agatha was predeceased by her 1st husband, Chester DeLong and her 2nd husband Dell Buxton. Agatha was a member of the United Baptist Church in Coldstream. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Thursday, June 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be Friday, June 19 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 1 PM with Rev. Michael Horseman officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Waterville Cemetery.
