It is with much sadness that the family of Aaltje Sharpe of Woodstock, passed away on Friday March 3, 2023, at Carleton Manor at the age of 93.

Born in Holland on August 27, 1929, to the late Sjuk and Elizabeth (Jetten) de Bruin.

Aaltje is survived by her Children-Elizabeth Marr (Gordon), Patricia Markey, Gordon Sharpe, Margaret Rogers (Steven), Stephen (Melina), Grandchildren-Cheryl (Peter), David (Lisa), Alicia (Greg), Christopher (Tracy), Amanda (Mitch), Sheila, Michelle (Ken), Mallory (Nigel), Jordon (Madison), Jonathan (Jenna) as well as several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Carleton Manor, specifically Goodine Lane for the wonderful care she received during her stay there.

Besides her parents, Aaltje was predeceased by her husband C. Gordon Sharpe.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service at this time.

A private graveside service will be held at the Pembroke Cemetery in the spring.

If so desired, donations can be made to the Pembroke Cemetery or Carleton Manor.
