Ruth Iona Gartley 88, of Woodstock  NB, passed away on Saturday June 03 at the Carleton Manor. Ruth was born June 26, 1928 at Upper Woodstock NB to the late Herbert and Cassie(Smalley) MacDonald. Ruth was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She is survived by a daughter, Betty Grant, a son William (Paula), grandchildren, Kevin Grant, Michael Grant (Talitha) Angie Godin, James Grant(Tricia) Sarah Grant, Wanda Harris(David), Wade Gartley(Krystle Perkins) Ashley MacDonald(Mackie), nineteen great-grand-children as well as several nieces,nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ralph, a son Herbert, Grandson, Andrew,and a son-in-law Roy Grant. Sisters, Margaret, Mildred , Lillian and brothers, Hazen and Charles.

Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home where friends may call on Monday June 05, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 2pm at the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in the Upper Waterville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Jacksontown Baptist Church.
