Gwendolyn Margaret Kennedy, of Woodstock, NB, passed away on April 11, 2010 at the Carleton Manor, having turned 94. She was born to James and Priscilla Rees, in Wales, on February 29, 1916. She was a teacher by trade. Gwen is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Dykeman (Perley) of Richmond Corner, Shirley Tompkins of Jacksonville, and JoAnne Green of Jacksonville; her sons, Linwood (Donna) Kennedy of Richmond Corner, Lawrence (Doris) of Hartland, and Douglas (Cindy) of Richmond Corner; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Molly Buchanan of Oshawa, ON; her sister Eileen Williams of Bull Rd; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, seven brothers and a great-grandson. Visitation will be held at Carleton Funeral Home on April 13, 2010 from 4-9 pm. A funeral service will be held from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 2 pm, with Rev. Rob Heffernan officiating. Interment will take place in the McKenzie Corner Cemetery.
