Floyd Edward Everett, 93, of Jacksontown, NB passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 at his residence. Floyd is the grandson of James Edward Everett and Malinda Jane Burtt, and the son of Frank Edward Everett and Eva Agnus Margison.  Floyd is predeceased by his parents, his three brothers, Oland, Clinton, and Wendall; his son, Sherman (Marlene), his daughter-in-law, Natalie (Frank); his grandson, Peter (Sherman/Marlene); his twin great grandchildren, Chad & Gillian (Pam & Alan Oakes).

Floyd is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Ruth Irene (Peterson); his children and their spouses:  Carolyn (Allan VanDine), daughter-in-law, Marlene, Ken (Lorna Leonard), Susan (Larry Currie) and Frank (Pam Tomah).

Floyd will be fondly remembered by his 18 grandchildren:  Kim, Pam (Alan Oakes), Richard (Andrea Cheney), Rodney (Kelly Grant), Ryan (Lindsay Matthews), Steven (Angela Myshrall), Phyllis (Kevin Humble), Andy (Aimee Fasola), Ian, Aaron (Sarah  Lamb), Kaleigh, Beth (Jon Pond), Michael (Danielle Watson), Matthew, Scott, Claire (Corey Dickinson),Lauren and Timothy.  He was great-"Grampy Everett" to 17 great grandchildren, Harrison & Charlotte (Susan), Payton (Ken), Samuel, Emma, Alex, Seth, Ben, Josh, Isaak, Aleah (Sherman), Paige, Olivia, Janelle, Garrett, Dow and Keenan (Carolyn).

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Wednesday, August 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 9 from the Jacksontown Baptist Church at 2 PM. Interment will be held in the Upper Jacksonville Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Jacksontown Baptist Church, Extra Mural Program or to the Canadian Red Cross.
