Eldora Ruth Atkinson, 72, of Irish Settlement NB passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Eldora was born in Houlton ME on February 9, 1945 daughter of the late Garold and Ruth (Grass) MacDonald.

Eldora is survived by her husband, John Atkinson; children, Velzora Daisley- Brandon (Rae), Joanne Atkinson, James Atkinson, Clifford Atkinson (Jaymie), AJ Atkinson (Lisa), Samantha Atkinson (John); son in law, Bill Daisley, grandchildren, Ben Daisley, Matt Daisley, Frank Atkinson, Quinn Atkinson; brother, Doug MacDonald; sister, Susan Carmichael ; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Eldora was predeceased by a brother Wayne MacDonald.

Visitation  will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 7 PM to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 11 AM. Interment will be in the McKenzie Corner cemetery.
