Dale Edward
Gray
September 12, 1951 – June 3, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dale Edward Gray at Upper River Valley Hospital in the early morning hours of June 3rd, 2023. Dale was born September 12, 1951, to Lorne and Bertha (Mills) (Gray) Everett.
Dale is survived by his sons, Jeremy - Erin, Samuel (Sidney), Lauren,
Luke of Airdrie, Alberta; Benjamin Angela, Jade, Adrianna, Maddox of
Calgary, Alberta; his loving partner of 27 years, Gloria (Justason)
Lawrence and her sons, Drew Emily, Curtis, Kirk and family of
Woodstock; Adam - Tammy and Brianna of Moncton, NB; and Aric
Golda, Nyrvana, Aryah, and Bryce of Woodstock, NB; Stepbrothers Brent (Linda) Everett of Moncton; Gary (Brenda) Everett, of Rosedale; and Stepsister - Lynn (Keith) McLean of B.C.; several nieces and nephews, about 80 people from Gloria's side of family, and lots of friends especially Brent Belyea.
Dale loved people and loved to eat out. Therefore, breakfast at the Country Style was a must each weekday morning, which lasted into lunch; then visiting with either Brent or Matt; then back to Country Style or McDonalds for coffee then home to Gloria. He enjoyed watching old westerns and old war movies and eating date squares. Dale was a truck driver most of his life, except for 16 years at DOT. So, when he met a truck driver the stories came quickly. Repeated over and over but relayed with pride.
The last 5 months have been difficult for Dale as he battled radiation for prostate cancer, which left him very sick and, in the hospital, these past 2 1/2 months. We would like to thank Doctor Chowhdary and the staff at URVH for their excellent care of Dale during this time. He had lots of visitors which he would have loved.
In keeping with Dale's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
If so desired, donations to the River Valley Cancer Support Group would be very much appreciated.
Arrangements under the direction and care of Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB
