It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lorne Allen Hallett 79 of Victoria Corner, NB at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Tuesday September 7, 2021.

Lorne was born on February 10th, 1942 to the late Deane and Jean (Wiley) Hallett.

He is survived by his son Jeff (Zoe) Hallett, daughter Melissa (Ian) Docherty and granddaughter MadysenAlong with his siblings, sisters Bernetta(Harold) Cox, Connie (Matt) Caldwell, Lydia Bridgeo, Bonnie (Hazen) Hunter, Cindy Walton, Natalie (Blaine) Bustard, Brothers Ronnie (Barbara), and Sterling (Wanda).

Besides his parents, Lorne was predeceased by his wife Gail (Grant) Hallett, sister Darlene Stapleton, brother Bobby Hallettsister in law Charlene Hallett and brothers in law Bill Stapleton, Paul Walton, and Eddie Bridgeo.

Visitation will be held on September 13, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB. 

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday September 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM from Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Murray Whitehouse officiating. A private interment will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.

Please note that masks will be mandatory for both the visiting hours and also the funeral service and Covid protocols will be in place.
